Coating Contractor Growth Operating System (OS)

Every lead answered, booked and followed up.

The Growth OS is a done-for-you front office for coating contractors. It texts back every missed call, answers every form and lead, books the estimate and chases every quote until it closes, in your voice, from your number. Starter is $497 a month and Pro $997, both with the Floor Visualizer included.

Month to month, no setup fee, 30 days' notice. Your number and your contacts leave with you.

Where the jobs go

Where do the jobs actually go?

The other coater did not out-bid you. They picked up while you were still on the slab.

  • 01

The call you could not answer.

A garage floor is a four-figure job, and one missed ring can be that whole ticket.

  • 02

    The estimate that no-showed.

You loaded flake samples and drove across town to an empty driveway, because nobody confirmed Thursday.

  • 03

    The quote that went quiet.

Homeowners collect three bids and stall. Most quotes do not die of no. They die of silence.

  • 04

    Last season's pile.

Every estimate you did not win is a homeowner who already invited you into their garage, sitting in a folder.

  • 05

The job that never became a review.

The floor is done, it is photogenic, and you are loading the trailer instead of asking for stars.

None of this is negligence. It is physics. Your work is good. Your follow-up is whatever is left of you at 8 p.m.

How it runs

What happens to the next call you cannot take?

  1. 01

A text goes out before they call the next company.

A homeowner calls while you are on a slab. Before they reach the next contractor on Google, a text goes out from your business number, in your voice, and the conversation keeps moving while you keep grinding.

  2. 02

The estimate gets booked, and it holds.

They land on your calendar with what you need to walk in ready: the space, its size and what is on the slab now. Confirmations and reminders go out before every visit.

  3. 03

Your quote gets chased until it closes or dies.

After you send the number, follow-up goes out on a schedule, with answers to what homeowners actually stall on: prep, moisture, hot-tire pickup, warranty and timing.

  4. 04

    The finished floor keeps working.

The review ask goes out once the floor has cured, and in the slow months last season's quote pile gets worked again.

The standard

Would the texts embarrass you?

Read them. If they would, do not buy this. Your name is on every message, and in a town where your reputation is the business, a cringey automated text costs more than a missed call.

Missed call, 9:41 a.m.

  1. You (via CoatFlow)

Hey, it's Dan. Sorry I missed your call, we're mid-pour on a garage in Avon. Are you looking at a garage floor, patio, or basement?

  2. Homeowner

Garage, 2-car. What's something like that run?

  3. You (via CoatFlow)

Depends on the square footage and the shape the slab's in. That's why we come measure and bring flake samples so you can see real colors. Dan's got Thursday afternoon open. Work for you?

  4. Homeowner

    Thursday works.

Quote sent last week, no reply

  1. You (via CoatFlow)

Morning, it's Dan. No pressure on the quote from last week, but if you're comparing bids, ask every contractor how they prep the slab. If the answer isn't a diamond grind, that coating's coming up in two winters. Happy to walk you through ours.

After hours, 7:52 p.m., answered on Pro

  1. You (via CoatFlow)

Thanks for calling. Dan's on a job, so I've got the phone tonight. Is this for a garage, a patio, or a basement?

  2. Homeowner

Garage, two-car. It's got an old paint coating that's peeling up.

  3. You (via CoatFlow)

Dan will want to see that before he quotes it. He's open Thursday afternoon. Want me to put you down?

  4. Homeowner

Thursday works. After 3 if you can.

Booked Thursday 3:30 p.m.

The same standard runs across everything it covers: missed calls, website forms, estimate confirmations, quote follow-up, last season's pile and the review ask after install.

Setup

What do we set up, and what do you do?

Most shops are live in 2 to 3 weeks. The carriers' approval of your business texting sets the pace, and we do that paperwork.

We do

  • Set up your texting number: yours, moved over, or a new local one
  • Register your business texting with the carriers
  • Write every message in your voice, for your approval
  • Connect your calendar, website forms and Facebook and Google leads
  • Install and brand your Floor Visualizer
  • Test every path with you before anything goes live
  • Watch the conversations and tune them every month

You do

  • One 30-minute kickoff call
  • Approve the messages before they go out
  • Keep your calendar current
  • Show up to the estimates it books

Floor Visualizer included

Already on the Floor Visualizer?

Both plans include it, so you stop paying for it separately: Growth OS Starter includes the visualizer's Starter plan and Growth OS Pro its Pro plan. The quote requests it brings in land in the same inbox as your calls and texts.

FAQ

Questions about the Growth OS

What is the Coating Contractor Growth OS?

A done-for-you front office for coating contractors. It texts back every missed call, answers every form and lead, books the estimate, follows up every quote and asks for the review, in your voice, and we set it up and run it for you. Growth OS Starter is $497 a month and Growth OS Pro is $997 a month.

How is the Growth OS different from the Floor Visualizer Pro plan?

Floor Visualizer Pro follows up the leads your visualizer brings in, and you run it yourself. The Growth OS covers every lead from every source (missed calls, website forms, texts, Facebook and Google leads and last season's quotes), and we run it for you. Both Growth OS plans include the Floor Visualizer, so you never pay for it twice.

What do I have to do on the Growth OS?

One kickoff call, then approve the messages before anything goes out. After that you take the estimates it books and answer the conversations it hands you. We run the rest and send you a report every month.

Will the Growth OS texts sound like a robot?

No. Every message is written in your voice and approved by you before it goes out, and it reads like a text from the truck: short, plain and useful. When a homeowner asks for a person, the conversation comes straight to you.

Do I keep my business phone number?

Yes. Texts go out from a business number that is yours: the one you have, moved over, or a new local number that forwards to you. If you ever leave, your number and your contacts leave with you.

How long does the Growth OS take to set up?

Most shops are live in 2 to 3 weeks. The phone carriers have to approve your business texting first, and we handle that paperwork. There is no setup fee.

Are texting and calling included in the Growth OS price?

Yes, at the volumes a coating business runs. If your usage ever heads well past normal, we tell you first, and nothing extra is billed without your OK.

Does the Growth OS run my ads?

No. Neither plan includes ad spend or ads management. We talk about ads once the phone is answered and the follow-up runs, because more leads poured into a system that drops them just drops more of them.

I already use a CRM. Do I have to switch?

No. The Growth OS handles the calls, texts and follow-up, and where your CRM allows it we connect the two, so jobs and invoices stay where they are. On Growth OS Pro we keep the pipeline clean for you.

Is the Growth OS a long contract?

No. Both plans are month to month with no setup fee, and you can leave with 30 days' notice.
