A Floori alternative for coating contractors.

CoatFlow is a Floori alternative built only for coating contractors. Floori finds the floor in a photo and lays a product texture on it, across flooring, tile, walls and coatings. CoatFlow makes an AI preview of your finish on the homeowner's own photo in about 15 seconds, then a walkthrough video of that floor, on your website.

Their side

What Floori offers

Breadth, print tools, a field app and product data. All of it from its own pages.

  • Every surface on one platform

Floori Studio covers flooring, rugs, tile, countertops, paint and coatings in one platform.

  • A self-serve coatings pack

Its coatings toolkit sells online through a checkout, with a 14-day trial. Installers choose a coatings supplier in its portal, and that catalog goes live.

  • A QR code for every blend

Print it in a catalog or on a flyer, and a scan opens that blend on the homeowner's phone.

  • Tools for the kitchen table

The Floori Professional iPad app measures rooms with LiDAR, shows products in AR, works offline and writes quotes. It is priced through Floori's sales team.

  • Product data and reports

Its portal connects to Shopify, WooCommerce and Magento. It is a HubSpot Gold Partner, and its GA4 reports show which blends and flakes get viewed most.

The real difference

How each one draws the floor

Floori lays a texture on the floor it finds. CoatFlow redraws the photo. That decides what the homeowner sees.

Floori works like a cutout and a swatch. Its Studio page says its algorithms crop the surface out of the photo. Its portal guide has you upload swatch images that repeat with no visible edge, and warns that one with an edge shows a tile effect on the floor. One session can try any number of products.

CoatFlow redraws the photo. The homeowner picks your finish and gets their own photo back with the floor coated, in about 15 seconds: in the patio below, the slab, the curve and every step. The trade-off: it is an illustrative AI image of color and pattern, not a spec. It does not show the chemistry or the gloss level, and a metallic pour moves its own way on every floor.

The differences

The differences a coating contractor will feel

Past the preview, three things decide how each tool fits a coating business: who it is for, who sets it up, and what happens after the preview.

Who it is built for

Floori's home page pitches manufacturers, distributors and designers, and its Studio lists an epoxy module beside flooring, rugs and paint. Its sales-led epoxy page takes only coating companies with two crews or more. CoatFlow is built for coating contractors of any size, with no crew minimum.

Who does the setup

Floori's pack is self-serve, with paid help if you want it. Its portal guide has you add a logo, create a floori.io subdomain and build the catalog by cloning supplier colors or uploading your own swatches, then paste an iframe into your site. Its toolkit page offers optional premium onboarding, and its team prepares textures for $6 per color.

With CoatFlow, you send the color charts for the products you install and our team builds your catalog, with no setup fee. You paste one script tag, and the default catalog runs until yours is ready.

What happens after the preview

Floori's Request a Quote button sends interest to your inbox. A pop-up lead capture form and text and email follow-up are paid add-ons. Its site lists no video of the homeowner's floor.

CoatFlow's quote button opens your own quote or booking page, or we can set up an in-widget quote form that sends the homeowner's name, phone number, email, photo and previews to your inbox or the CRM you already use. Both plans turn a preview into a walkthrough video of the homeowner's floor. On Pro, our team sets up and runs text and email follow-up that chases each lead to a booked estimate.

The CoatFlow side

Where CoatFlow is the better Floori alternative

For a coating shop that wants homeowners sold on the floor before the estimate, and every lead chased after it.

  • Coatings, and only coatings

Flake, metallic, quartz and solid color, with polyaspartic shown as a flake system.

    See the finish families
  • A video of their own floor

A short walkthrough clip of their garage or patio, ready in a few minutes, that they can text to whoever was not home. An AI video of the preview, not footage of an installed floor.

    How walkthrough videos work
  • Follow-up, run for you

On Pro, our team sets up and runs text and email follow-up to a booked estimate. It is part of the plan, with no setup fee.

    Compare Starter and Pro
  • Your catalog, built for you

Send your color charts. Our team sets up your blends, metallics, quartz and solid colors under your supplier's names. No swatch images to prepare.

    How the visualizer works
  • No photo? Use a demo room.

A built-in demo garage, patio or pool deck shows any finish right away.

Try it on your own floor photo

Upload a garage, patio or pool deck photo and pick a finish. The preview takes about 15 seconds.

What it costs

Floori pricing vs CoatFlow pricing

Floori's first price is lower; CoatFlow includes more after the preview. Floori's figures are as its pages showed them on October 6, 2026. It has no single pricing page, so each figure links to its source.

Floori pricing and CoatFlow pricing (Floori figures as of October 6, 2026)
Plan Monthly price Includes
Floori Epoxy Starter Pack $49, locked for 12 months (list $199) Visualizer, preloaded blends and flakes, QR codes, marketing pack, GA4 reports. No session limit stated.
Floori sales-led plans $150 to $250 for 200 sessions, $355 for 500 Coating companies with two crews or more, through a demo
Floori add-ons Lead capture form $99 setup plus $49 a month; CRM with email and SMS campaigns $499 setup plus $249 a month Optional, on top of a plan
CoatFlow Starter $99 300 photo credits, 5 clips, the embed, a catalog built for you
CoatFlow Pro $149 600 photo credits, 35 clips, follow-up run by our team

Floori's first price is lower. The gap closes after the preview: text and email follow-up is a $499 setup plus $249 a month add-on there, and part of Pro here. CoatFlow is month to month on both plans, or yearly at 20% off, with no setup fee.

Sessions vs credits, worked through

The units differ. A Floori session starts when someone uploads a photo or opens a room scene, and any number of products tried inside it count as one. A CoatFlow photo credit is one finish on one photo.

Say 60 homeowners a month each compare 3 of your finishes on one photo. That is 180 credits, inside Starter's 300, or 60 sessions, inside the 200 on Floori's $150 to $250 plans. Run your own numbers before you pick.

Billing period

Paying yearly? Starter is $79 a month and Pro $119 a month, billed once a year ($948 and $1,428): 20% off. Ask our team to set it up.

Your questions

Need what Floori has? Here is how CoatFlow does it

Things coating contractors ask for, in their own words, and how CoatFlow handles each one.

  • "I need quotes and a CRM." Already use a CRM? Keep it. When a homeowner asks for a quote, CoatFlow sends it straight to your CRM: their name, phone number and email, plus the photo of their floor and the picture of it with your finish. Our team hooks it up for you. Keep writing quotes the way you do now. No CRM yet? We can set one up for you.
  • "I want an app in the home." You do not need one. CoatFlow runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or computer, with nothing to install. Open your website, add a photo of their floor, and they see your finish on it in about 15 seconds.
  • "Every rep needs to show it." Every rep can open the visualizer on your website from their own phone. Every lead lands in one place: your CRM or your inbox.
  • "I also sell LVP, tile or wood." CoatFlow is built only for coatings. So every screen is about flake, metallic, quartz and solid color, and your catalog is built from your own color charts. Your coating customers never scroll past carpet to find your flake.
  • "I want the lowest price to start." Start with the 7-day trial, and cancel before day 7 to pay nothing. After that, Starter is $99 a month for 300 previews, 5 walkthrough videos, the website embed and a catalog our team builds for you.
  • "I hand out a lot of print." Put a QR code on your flyers, yard signs and truck that opens the visualizer page on your website. One scan, and the homeowner tries your finishes on a photo of their own floor.
